The popular inflight magazine from Precison Air published in 2013 the iconic 8 page cover story “Delicious” about the chef training at Machweo which has lead to the launch of the Axel Janssens signature catering division.
After 4 years, PAA Tanzania revisits and publishes in issue 87 of July 2017 a 2 page article about Onsea House and Machweo.
With the title “Pure comfort from dusk to dawn”, the article recommends Onsea House to escape from the square-box rooms of business hotels. The article comes at the right time: the 5 recently renovated Onsea House rooms feature now all WiFi and are repositioned as the standard rooms of a total of 14 rooms at Onsea House and Machweo. It also praizes the Machweo fine dining restaurant for the fusion of Europan and African delights.
This article comes just short after the renewed recognation of both Onsea House accommodation as well as restaurant with a “TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2017” and the Award as “Best French Restaurant of the Year in Tanzania for 2017” by the Luxury Travel Guide Awards.
