Last week, five of our staff members attended an African First Aid Course, recognized by the Belgian Red Cross Society. Injuries, diseases and sudden illnesses happen all too often and we realized the need for some of our staff to be trained professionally as the right kind of help at the right time can improve conditions and save lives. IBES (Institute for Business, Entrepreneurship and Social Pedagogical Studies) recognizes that conditions are different in different continents and therefore they developed a first aid learning book written by specialist throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. After 5 days of learning and training, all of our participating staff received their certificate and First Aid Pass and we are as proud as they are.
