Vroegboekacties bij Connections en Joker

Naast de eerder aangekondigde acties bij de grote Tour Operators zijn er sinds vandaag vroegboekacties bij Connections en Joker. 

Wie naar aanleiding van de We Are From Belgium aflevering van Dirk & Inneke op vakantie wilt naar Tanzania kan nog via deze acties boeken tot respectievelijk 23 en 30 januari en vliegen tot in het najaar 2010.

Kilimanjaro en Zanzibar zitten traditioneel in het aanbod van Connections en Joker.

Connections biedt vluchten met Ethiopian Airlines vanaf Brussel op Kilimanjaro, vlakbij Onsea House. Tot 30/6 vlieg je voor vanaf 599 Euro H/T inclusief luchthaventaks, vanaf 16/08 betaal je vanaf 609 Euro voor je ticket.

Joker biedt vroegboekacties met Ethiopian Airlines op Zanzibar maar heeft ook scherpe prijzen voor gasten die Oost-Afrika willen ontdekken met aankomst en vertrek uit bijvoorbeeld Entebbe en Nairobi met Brussels Airlines.

Rwanda gets ready to welcome more safari guests from Tanzania

The Mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, the endless views on tea plantations, the pretty hills and lakes, Intore dancing and traditional drummers, its people and its culture are among the additional features when extending a safari & beach holiday in Tanzania with a couple of days in Rwanda.

“The future of Rwanda’s tourism industry looks brighter” reported The New Times already in October. Statistics show that the country has now 4225 hotel rooms compared to 3438 last year, representing a record increase of 23 percent in the number of hotel rooms.

The expansion of Kigali Serena Hotel and Hotel Des Mille Collines have greatly boosted the number of rooms. The Onsea House owners familiarized with both hotels and witnessed today the finishing of the first phase of the extension and refurbhisment of Kigali Serena Hotel. The new swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam bath are fully functioning. The ultra modern 2 storey fitness centre and 44 new guestrooms will officially open next week.

The developments come at a time when Rwanda needs about 6,000 rooms by 2012 to accommodate the increasing number of tourists.

Also the new RwandAir national airline gets ready to fly in more people with attractive flights from Kilimanjaro at US$ 190, which is not more than a flight to the Serengeti or Zanzibar. While flying a longer distance, the flight time is limited to just 1 hour thanks to the modern Canadair Regional Jet.Â
RwandAir has a code share agreement with Brussels Airlines on the Kigali – Brussels Sector, Ethiopian on the Kigali – Addis Ababa Sector. For connections into Tanzania, RwandAir flies to Kilimanjaro offering connections to the rest of the country in code share with Precisonair Tanzania Limited.

Sinds 3 januari tot en met 25 januari lopen bij zowel Connections als Joker vroegboekacties. “De prijzen zijn beduidend lager, wat natuurlijk voor een deel te danken is aan de gedaalde olieprijs”, zegt Patrick De Pauw van Connections. “Maar door de economische crisis smachten de luchtvaartmaatschappijen naar meer zekerheid. Bij elk zitje dat ze nu al verkopen, valt er een pak van hun hart. Maar als ze alle zitjes voor deze prijs zouden verkopen, zouden ze niet eens kunnen opstijgen. De prijzen zijn nooit gezien.”

Last minute low price flights to Africa and special safari offers are launched at the time of the radio interview with Onsea House in Arusha, Tanzania on Les Belges du bout du Monde on the first Belgian radio channel of the french community (RTBF), on the 10th of August 2008.

Virgin Atlantic offers from 18th of August up to 17th of December 2008 flights from Brussels to Nairobi for just 612 Euro! Brussels Airlines does even better as of 1st of September up to 1st of November 2008 with flights as low as of 583 Euro. Both flight tickets are available through Joker and Connections.
