Wildlife photographer Per-Gunnar Ostby uses Onsea House Arusha as base for his safari in Tanzania

As a second and third grader, Per-Gunnar Ostby was colouring in maps of the world at the school library. He was fascinated with the exotic names, the romantic locations and the seemingly empty spaces on the maps. Now, 30 years later, Per-Gunnar Ostby had the great fortune to spent time exploring quiet some of those places with his camera. Not without success. His swimming lion is now featuring the summer 2007 edition of BBC Wildlife Magazine. The photographer’s website pgo images shows a sample of absolutely stunning wildlife images.

Per-Gunnar visited Tanzania in september 2007. On his travel blog, you can read about his experiences “staying at a fantastic little boutique hotel in Arusha called Onsea house” but also discover Asilia Lodges properties: Oliver’s Camp in Tarangire, Olakira Camp in Central Serengeti, Suyan Camp in Loliondo, Sayari Camp in Northern Serengeti and Matemwe Bungalows on Zanzibar, while on safari with Green Footprint Adventures.
